Baguette making with Chef Phillippe could not have been more fun and the food was divine! - Maureen

Level up your culinary skills with friends while supporting a great cause by bidding on one of our silent auction's hands-on cooking classes. Proceeds directly benefit Heather Matson’s campaign for the District 21 Iowa state senate seat in the Des Moines area.

The fantastic lineup of culinary experiences taught by talented home chefs includes making fresh baguettes, delicious pavlova, Mediterranean dishes, cocktails, pita, and classic risotto. The winning bids include lessons for you and your guests ensuring a memorable and unique experience like the fabulous times past winners had:

"Massimo and Paola were so warm and welcoming! Massimo took us through all the steps... We cooked together while sipping wine and sharing travel stories... We capped it off by dining on some of the best risotto I've ever had! I highly recommend it!"

"Phillipe's baguette-making class was wonderful! The four of us were at different levels of bread baking experience and still Phillipe and Sylvie managed to make it all seem effortless for each of us. We felt so welcome, it was easy to ask questions and learn!"

"This was an absolutely amazing experience and I left feeling like I'd had such fun with my friends and had met new ones too!"

The online auction will culminate with a fabulous Garden Party in Palo Alto on Saturday, July 18 at 4:30pm. You can meet Heather in person as well as former California State Senator Joe Simitian and State Win's Senior Director of Political and Programs, Shawn Werner!

The fun doesn't end there! In addition to the garden party, we have a wonderful brunch with mimosas and a cornfest with backyard games. Heather will be at both events in person. Why not register for all three events that weekend!

If you can't make any of these events, please consider making a donation to help Heather and Iowa Democrats expand into key battleground districts to erode the Republic majority in the Iowa State Senate. All proceeds of the silent auction and the events benefit Heather's campaign.
