The coastal town of Finale Ligure on the Italian Riviera.

Our online silent auction to help Heather Matson win her race for the District 21 state senate seat just north of Des Moines is OPEN! Bid on incredible items—including fantastic getaways, private cooking classes, and unique skills lessons. It's easy to get started:

• Visit the States Win South Bay auction website to browse all available items.
• Create an account by verifying your email address and entering the required information.
• Place your bids!

If you have any trouble, we'll walk you through it at the July 2 monthly meeting. If you can't make it, here are more detailed instructions on 32auctions signup and bidding.

The online auction will culminate with a fabulous Garden Party in Palo Alto on Saturday, July 18 at 4:30pm. You can meet Heather in person as well as former California State Senator Joe Simitian and State Win's Senior Director of Political and Programs, Shawn Werner!

You don’t need to attend to win an auction item, but we'd love to see you there! Prizes can be picked up at the event.

The fun doesn't end there! In addition to the garden party, we have a wonderful brunch with mimosas and a cornfest with backyard games. Heather will be at both events in person. Why not register for all three events that weekend!

Saturday, July 18, 10 am-12 pm: Brunch & Mimosas with Heather, Los Gatos.

Sunday, July 19, 4 – 6pm: Cornfest & Backyard Games!

If you can't make any of these events, please consider making a donation to help Heather and Iowa Democrats expand into key battleground districts to erode the Republic majority in the Iowa State Senate. All proceeds of the silent auction and the events benefit Heather's campaign.

Join us online while Captains Maureen and Donna review States Win's strategy briefing on the state legislative races that will define 2026, and shape the 2028 map and the next round of redistricting.

Thanks to all who supported the Wine for the Win Fundraiser for Heather Matson! A big shout out to the volunteers who brought and made such delicious food and a big round of applause to Karen Krall who always does such an amazing job coordinating and planning this special fundraiser! We are also very grateful to Patrick, the owner of the Uncorked Winebar who is always so generous in donating the space at Uncorked!

Together we raised $3725+ for Heather --- almost enough to cover all of her canvassing literature. Let's keep up the momentum!
