ACTIONS OF THE WEEK

  • Attend South Bay's first meeting of the year and meet Sarah Curmi, Executive Director of States Win, Thur, Feb 5 at 7pm.
  • Write postcards today Feb 3, 6 - 8pm or Sat Feb 14, 10am - 12pm.
  • Help South Bay with events by attending our first planning meeting, Wed, Feb 11, 7pm on zoom. All are welcome.
  • Chip in to support States Win HQ today!

We are excited to welcome States Win's Executive Director Sarah Curmi for our February monthly meeting! She will give us a preview of the road ahead for 2026. We will learn about the priorities for States Win and how South Bay can contribute.

If you're new to States Win South Bay, join us and meet fellow volunteers. Meetings take place the first Thursday of the month.

ANOTHER REASON WHY STATES MATTER

A recent NY Times article illustrated the importance of state legislatures to restrict and challenge federal immigration tactics in their states.

It is uplifting to know that Gaby Goldstein is involved! Gaby is a co-founder of Sister District (now States Win). Go, Gaby! Go, state legislatures!


She also shared an inspiring video from Leslie Mehta (HD-73) who we helped get elected to the Virginia House of Delegates.
